What is MAP?
The Migration Acceleration Program (MAP) provides support for customers leveraging Idexcel to perform large migrations to Amazon Web Services (AWS). Through proven methodology, tooling, training, and incentives, this approach helps reduce risk and costs associated with migrating to the cloud to build a strong operational foundation. MAP includes a robust set of tools and resources for Idexcel to automate and accelerate common migration scenarios, allowing you to focus on innovation and driving your business forward, instead of managing and maintaining antiquated infrastructure.
Funding through MAP is available to AWS Migration Systems Integrator (SI) Competency Partners who assist with large customer
migrations to AWS, to help offset your upfront migration costs based on the net new Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR).

- Customer business cases delivered by Idexcel may qualify for AWS funding
Mobilize
Address gaps in your readiness that were uncovered during the initial assessment and focus on building the baseline solution.
Tools & Resources:
- AWS Application Discovery Service: Gather information on your on-premises data centers to plan your migration
Funding:
- AWS will match your investment $1:$1 up to a disclosed dollar amount in cash to Idexcel for their services
Migrate & Modernize
Design, migrate, and validate each of your workloads and leverage cloud-based services to modernize your infrastructure.
Tools & Resources:
- AWS Migration Hub: Track progress of your migrations across multiple AWS and partner solutions and add MAP Tagging for migration workloads
- CloudEndure Migration: Automate your cloud migration and quickly rehost a large number of machines and workloads
Funding:
- To offset the cost of services and lower your upfront migration costs, AWS will fund 25% of net new post migration ARR cash to Idexcel for the migration and/or modernization (if the modernization is included in the initial migration scope)
